Anita Collier Ahyoka

Anita started her adventures as a child growing up in Calhoun County, Alabama. Her first realized cryptid sighting was of Bigfoot in the Appalachian mountain chain in 1979. In 1998 Anita began writing about and researching Bigfoot. Being a hospice registered nurse was an opening to hear stories about sightings of and activities around rural patients' home . After attending her first conference in Michigan, Anita knew it would be her mission to educate the east Alabama and surrounding areas about local Bigfoot culture. Anita has a ladies group called Southern Sasquatch Sisters who share crytid info and camp to research in local mountains. Alabama Bigfoot Conference is her source to help tell about her experiences and stories of paranormal activity and crytid adventures.
